West Virginia, take me … to Cass Scenic Railroad State Park

New Tygart Flyer (Active April – November) –

Mostly Durbin Is the highlight of this route. Trust from Cass, De Greenbrier Express offers a picturesque journey to one of the picturesque cities in West Virginia that radiates timeless charm with general stores, Mom & Pop -aut, all chased by amazing wilderness of Monongahela National Forest.


Cass Bald Knob Trip (Operational May – October) –
I hope you are not afraid of heights! This 4.5 -hour trek to Bald Knob takes passengers more than 2,300 feet for a breathtaking view of Appalachian Landscapes, ranging from spruce forests and stunning mountains, because this is the second highest point in West Virginia.
Cass Whitaker Station (Operational May – October) – –
Return to 2 hours, guests can hang on board the age-old trains and puff past picturesque meadows and rolling hills, eventually reaching Whitaker station to dive deep into the historic logging operations of the area.
This route includes a 30 -minute break to take a beautiful view of the countryside and to go through the reconstructed wood camp and intriguing exhibitions.

Camping is not for everyone. That is why “Glamping” has become more popular, but who would ever reject a hut in the forest?
