Visiting a place where you have never been, can be an enchanting experience. That seemed to be the case for Hanna Pourś when we met one Sunday in March in London: she took on the sights with friends on what she said was her first trip to the city.
They were on their way to King’s Cross train station to find a location made famous by the “Harry Potter” books: Platform 9 ¾. The scarf, skirt and round wire frame glasses that Mrs. Broś, 21, wore, was reminiscent of the appearance of students at Hogwarts, the fictional school for witches and wizards. (She identifies herself as a Clawshe said.)
In fact, Mrs. Pourge is a medical student in Krakow, Poland. “I want to become a doctor,” she said. “It has just been a dream all my life.”
