The travel season is approaching quickly, so there is no better time to make your travel plans.
If you want to get off the beaten track without jumping into the big unknown, visiting fast -growing global destinations is a great middle ground.
These are hotspots that get a grip without the crowd and the excess of their famous counterparts.

Viator has issued its latest trend report, which currently reveals the five fastest growing destinations.
These are an interesting mix of destinations that offer beautiful outdoor activities and large, bustling cities.
5. Tromso, Norway
Three of the five fastest growing destinations of Viaator are beauty spots in cool climates.
This shows that travelers crave a closer bond with nature in 2025.
And if it is the nature you want, then Tromso is a great holiday destination to choose!

According to Viator, interest in TroMo has grown by 86%. This is due to its beautiful natural beauty, unique opportunities for spotting wildlife and unique Sami culture. Some of the best cultural attractions in TROMO are the iconic Arctic cathedral and the Polar Museum.
TROMO is best known as one of the best places in the world to spot the Northern Lights. It is directly in the “Aurora Oval”, making it an excellent Aurora viewing area. If seeing the Noorderlicht is on your bucket list, then September to April is the best time to visit.
4. Banff, Canada
There has been an increase of 87% in interest in traveling to Banff.
This follows a general trend of the increased number of American travelers who choose to explore Canada in 2025.

Banff is located in the first National Park in Canada and is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage. Seeing this awesome performance of nature when it comes to life during the summer months is something that should be on your bucket list.
Walking to get the best view is a popular goal here, but if you prefer an activity with little impact, bring the Banff Gondola to a height of 700 meters on the number of sulfur mountain where you can enjoy epic views without the effort.
3. Rovaniemi, Finland
The most popular Scandinavian destination on this list and another cool again hot spot is Rovaniemi in Finland.

Rovaniemi is best known as the home base of Santa Claus in the winter months, but don’t be fooled by thinking that this is not a great destination all year round.
Rovaniemi has seen an increase of 88% in popularity thanks to the excellent natural beauty and abundance of things to see and do.
During the summer months the snow was melted here, but you can still meet Huskies or visit a reindeer farm for a hint of festive magic.
You can also walk all night under the midnight sun, and the rivers of Kemijoki and Ounasjoki are both the perfect place for a picturesque kayak ride.
If you want to know more about this fascinating part of the world, stop at Arktikum, a museum and science center dedicated to both the Arctic region and the history of Finnish Lapland.
2. Destin, Florida
Florida is always a popular holiday destination, in which Orlando and Miami attract millions of visitors every year. But a less well -known hotspot in Florida rises in popularity: go Destin, Florida inside.

Destin’s attention increased by 178% in 2025, and this is not surprising because the city is home to the most beautiful beaches of the state. White sandy beaches are surrounded by unusual emerald green waters.
Fisherman lovers may have already heard of Destin, which is called ‘the happiest fishing village’ because of the abundance of deep -sea fishing options.
There are an incredible 20 types of edible game fish in the waters here.

And if you are looking for an adrenaline pumpventure, go to Big Kahunas. This is the only water park in Destin and with more than 40 rides it has something for everyone.
1. Beijing, China
The fastest-growing destination in the world is currently Beijing, where a no less than 290% of the attention of Viator customers has seen increasing. China has reopened its limits to international travelers and Americans can now visit for a maximum of 10 days without the hassle of securing a visa.
Beijing is an accessible introduction to Groot -China and a city that I would call home for more than a year. It is full of incredible cultural attractions and has a rich history.

Explore the forbidden city, an impressive imperial palace, and the Tian’anmen -Square is located in front of this city. This is one of the largest public squares in the world and a site of enormous political significance. You can still visit the body of chairman Mao that is in it Mausoleum of Mao Zedong That’s the square.
The best of Beijing? It must be the food! Enjoy a steaming Beijing Hot pot, Beijing Duck or a donkey burger. The only time I ate donkey meat, and it tasted incredible!
