Ayia Napa also has a unique attraction that the most tourists who visit Cyprus skip the water world with the Greek mythology theme.
But for the real deal you want to reach the old ruins of Kourion overlooking the sea, or Kolossi Castle and Amathus, perhaps the least known.

Limassol has beautiful beaches, offers phenomenal dishes that are reminiscent of Greece, fascinating historical sights, lively nightlife and affordable luxury – what is not fun?
Well, to be honest, the long journey here.
The truth is told, if you are willing to visit Greek islands, the Turkish Riviera, the trendy beach cities of Albania or another Mediterranean stunner, in terms of air travel, Cyprus is not that much further.
There are no non -stop flights to American airports, but given the connectivity throughout Europe, it is very feasible to reach only one stopover.
Given the lax access requirements of Cyprus for Americans, do not expect you to waste at the airport at any time.
The nearest airport is the aforementioned Larnaca, just an hour’s drive. Here you will find easy hops of popular European hubs, such as Athens, Amsterdam, Munich, Paris and the most important airports in London.
