Santorini is an iconic name in the same breath as Athens, although for completely different types of holidays.

It is not an acropolis or a large mosque, but it is a feast for the eyes. The best of all is that there is no line to visit and experience his magic next to the charming maze of paved streets in the city.

I am not someone who leaves a Ritzy All-Inclusive Faaste when I get the chance, but I also enjoy an authentic stay without the Pizazz just as much.

Since Bozcada is a destination all year round with an enviable Mediterranean climate, here are a few beaches to keep in mind with comments from recent beachgoers (although some say that Bozcadada’s waters can be cold):

  • Sulubahçe Beach: “Almost perfect. I thought it was great. One of the best beaches I have ever visited.”
