The illusion of a controlled regional conflict has officially been shattered. In a massive overnight escalation, the US State Department issued 11 urgent security alerts worldwide.
As the Middle East reaches a boiling point that has prompted active evacuations and new hotel warnings, the security implications have officially reached North America. At the same time, international travelers are facing a wave of severe, simultaneous travel disruptions in Europe and South America.

Canada: Shots fired in Toronto. A security incident closed the area surrounding the American consulate in Toronto. Following reports of shots fired early Tuesday morning, the RCMP has vastly increased its armed security presence. The US Embassy has issued a chilling new warning: Avoid ALL hotels. Intelligence indicates that major international hotels are currently being monitored as active terrorist targets.
Jordan: Evacuation of the embassy. Jordan is no longer considered a secure operational hub. All U.S. non-emergency personnel have been ordered to evacuate the country immediately and the embassy complex is officially closed.


Qatar: extraction flights. Qatar is preparing for mass evacuations for Americans stuck in the region. The US Embassy has officially activated a crisis intake form to process citizens for upcoming extraction flights. If you are in the region, you must complete this immediately.

Iraq: international zone violated. The general shelter-in-place order has been improved. The heavily fortified International Zone is now closed due to violent riots at the 14 of July Bridge and Tahrir Square.


Bahrain and Oman: Gulf retaliation The ministry in Bahrain has officially banned all gatherings on public roads as civil unrest spikes. Meanwhile, the embassy in Oman has issued a stark warning regarding impending “retaliatory attacks across the Gulf,” calling on civilians to remain sheltered near Duqm and Salalah.

The geopolitical shockwaves are causing local security crises further south.
Djibouti: Camp Lemonnier targeted In the Horn of Africa, active threats are heavily targeted at Camp Lemonnier and the US Embassy. All staff and travelers are strictly instructed to avoid the area immediately.
Simultaneous global travel disruptions
