Minimalist fashion was pushed to the utmost at the Grammy Awards on Sunday evening.
Bianca Censori, the wife of the rapper and designer who is previously known as Kanye West, appeared in a look that was so parried that many people were wondering whether her ensemble could be considered indecent exposure.
Although Mrs. Censori arrived in a long rough jacket at the prices, she removed her outerwear shortly after she stepped on the red carpet to reveal the look underneath: a tight, completely pure mini -dress, which seem to be exposed to her breasts and sexual organs lay.
Since the first publicly published with Mr. West, Mrs. Censori, who is Australian and worked in architecture and interior design in Melbourne, has become known for her provocative appearance. In 2023 she took one stroll about In Florence, Italy, who holds a purple pillow over her breasts while wore pure tights. She has also worn various body -stocking outfits – in colors such as gray, champagne and cardinal red – but they were more opaque than the stocking she wore on the Grammies.
Unveiling outfits on award shows have a long, conversation history.
During the MTV Video Music Awards from 1999, Lil ‘Kim appeared in a lilac jumpsuit that only covered one of her breasts – the other was accessorized with a matching nipple paste. The year before, actress Rose McGowan came to the same award show with her then friend Marilyn Manson in a fibrous dress that exposed her buttocks. And more than a decade earlier, in 1988, Cher accepted an Oscar for the best actress in a heavily embellished pure dress by Bob Mackie who shocked some viewers at the time.
Mrs. Censori’s look on Sunday has caused an outpouring of comments in the same way. Some on social media made jokes that her outfit was low in maintenance. Others wondered if her look was out of step with the law.
When contacted by the New York Times, a Media Relations Officer for the Los Angeles police mentioned the criminal law of California, who defines indecent exposure as “the intentional exposure of someone’s sexual organs in a public place or in the presence of another person. “
According to the code, the officer explained, each exposure must be done with the intention of “insulting or getting sexually.”
On the red carpet on Sunday evening, Mrs. Censori did not turn on her jacket again before she posed for photos with her husband by her side. Mr. West, on the other hand, was completely dressed in a black T-shirt with matching pants and sunglasses.
