With 4 July fireworks that dedicate our nocturnal sky, countless Americans will relax on the lake or the beach, enjoy the origins of a nice day spent on sun-drenched coasts.

The problem is that you are probably crammed into Sardines, all ooh-ing and ahh-ing on the same colorful displays that we look forward to every year.

But let your 3-day weekend be the last this summer. We at Travel Off Path have covered the whole world, and it is safe to say that we like to present the lesser -known to lure you away from both the crowds of large metropolises and iconic beach destinations.

We have completed the 5 best beach trips (both international and inland), which we believe will fascinate you immediately by avoiding the ugly crowd this summer.

Allow me to be your guide (free) because I have visited them all 5!

Let’s start at home, shall we?

Oceanside, California

As San Diegan there is one city that has been on my radar lately and I am certainly not the only one.

Known as one of the most beautiful regions in America, there are not many places in San Diego County with dilapidated communities, but Oceanside was one of them.

In recent years, as the locals call it, O’Side has undergone a much needed glow-up, where the new hype has put this underrated beach city back on the map, but not enough to remove you because of crowd.

Because San Diego Notoir is expensive (does anyone want to help with rent?), Oceanide was actually called the most affordable beach city in California.

You will find more elbow space along equally beautiful beaches compared to neighboring cities, underhyped resorts on the water, trendy new restaurants, seafood markets and the option to explore O’Side yourself, to make a 25 -minute ride to Orange County, or to reach the usual attractions in San Diego for 45 minutes.

Nokomis, Florida

Despite the fact that the tourist records are apparently every year, it seems that Florida is not becoming smaller and smaller, as if all the hidden gems have been treated?

That’s why I present you: Nokomis.

This little known hiding place, which offers similar sugar white sand to the nearby icon Siesta Key, has sufficient parking space, spacious beaches and nice tiki bars that do not feel cheesy.

There is also no noticeable retired crowd that asks you to ask you what your future could look like if you stay with Margaritaville-Het is a nice mix of young, middle-aged and those who live their best “golden years”.

You will not find any beach resorts here, but there are well -known chains in the city. Nokomis is easily accessible to other popular beach cities, making it a great day trip to escape from the beach without sacrificing the paradic landscape that we expect from the lively coasts of Florida.

And hit the drum circles!

Hellshire Beach, Jamaica

Now it’s time to pack your passport! You could easily follow the crowds to Montego Bay and Negl, and who knows, maybe it’s the best journey of your life.

My question to you is, why would you perhaps visit the most cultural island of the Caribbean without experiencing the heart and soul of Jamaica?

Let’s face it – Kingston is probably not on your wish list, given the sketchy reputation, but I am here to tell you that it is not all ruin and gloom, especially because the US Department has reduced Jamaica’s advice back to ‘level 2’.

Discovering Hellshire Beach remains one of my biggest surprises in my travels to this day. Hellshire is about 25 minutes from the center of Kingston and is an easy Uber ride gone (although you might have to take a taxi-it is for tourists).

This unpaved road is covered with seafood huts that operate every conceivable fresh catch, but the lobster and fried fish fillets were sensational (watch out for too expensive menus-jij can Negotiation).

The waters are clear Caribbean -blue, like many of the renowned coastline of Jamaica, except that Hellshire has a real, authentic feeling with reggae rays and the locals enjoy a beautiful dive, because most Jamaicans are not allowed to enjoy their own unspoilt beaches due to limitations of private -ownership.

Portobelo, Panama

The Panama Canal takes a lot of shine away from the rest of the country, but does not let this modern Marvel take away from the true magic of Panama, just as you would not have the Eiffel Tower removed from the essence of Paris.

Panama is very American-friendly; That is why so many expats move here. But the coastline of Panama is still overlooked.

I had the pleasure of taking the very first flight from Copa Airlines to San Diego, directly to Panama City.

Although it was not the bustling Metropolis’s waterfront that surprised my mind was a 2-hour trip to what our insightful guide, Nico, of Ancon Expeditions, Take us, whom he described as “a place that no tourists go there.”

Upon arrival at UNESCO-protected Portobelo you will be welcomed by the fascinating ruins Dating from the 1600s and Casa Congo, an equally fascinating all-in-one modern art gallery, wonderful restaurant and hotel, plus Iglesia de San FelipeA timeless church that represents what the locals call ‘black Jesus’ because this side of Panama is 80% Afro-Caribbean.

Although I wrote this on a Sunday, I am not here to take you to church. Where you really want to go is a fast boot charter to the beach, where you can snorkel, kick back in a lounger, wave along the water and interwoven with a cold Cerveza And fresh parties locally produced seafood (although it is advised not to eat the “baby lobster”).

We saw stingrays, eels, colorful schools fish and coral reefs, as well as sloths who ran in the wild under awnings and iguanas.

Portobelo was really not discovered by the masses.

Mahahual, Mexico

Well, we would normally say that Cancun is currently full of and that it may still be in certain resorts, but the seaweed crisis probably has fewer visitors on the beach and more swimming bars.

No matter how you cut it, Mahahual is one of the best kept secrets of the Mexican Caribbean. This hidden Costa Maya village on the reverse of a jungle loaded highway is covered with boutique hotels and eco-lodges within walking distance of the beach.

If you take a walk beyond the picturesque cityscape of shops, buzzing beach bars, eating holes-in-the-wall, you will discover crowd-free bays with Caribbean Blue Waters like your own remote paradise.

The only drawback that you can come across is is when Sargassum reaches the coast of Mahahual, there is probably no enormous clearing effort as you can see in places such as Punta Cana and Cancun.

It is best to stay informed of local publications or to keep an eye on The Cancun Sun Detailing the approach of the Mexican government of the seaweed invasion.
