Who doesn’t like a tropical outing that none passport?
If you’ve not been there yet Key West, Then you miss one of the best places in the country. I recently went on a group trip Southern beach resort in Key West and I don’t joke when I say it was One of my favorite trips to date.
Not to create, but I made quite a few trips to many different places, so I don’t compare it to your normal family of the Mill Family East Coast Beach.
Let me lead you through my journey and tell you why I loved Southern beach resort So much. Bul up because there are many reasons why I fell in love with this place.
Traveling seamlessly to paradise
First of all I learned to really appreciate when I can Fly Non -Stop somewhere.
I am not afraid to need multiple connections to be great somewhere, but it is nice if you can get in just one flight. Happy, Key West has tons of direct flights Making a non -stop flees so much easier. It is a small but well -connected airport that is super easy to navigate. And it has been freshly renovated! They have brand new ports and you no longer have to get on the asphalt.
Breeze Airways adds direct flights and they also have Seasonal direct flights To search!
What is even more important (at least for me) is the amount of travel time to come from Destination Airport to the actual destination.
There have been far too often that I have been so excited to finally come to this great tropical destination and get into my transport and then sit in a car (who often has a driver who has gone much too overboard with the scented car verissators) and then have two hours in the car before we finally come to the hotel.

That is definitely not the case with Southern beach resort. From picking up at the airport to drop off at the Resort Check -in was perhaps 10 minutes Tops.
I know Key West Is not very big, but I was still overly enthusiastic about the lightning -fast transport that immediately has a beautiful view of the ocean. That’s one of my favorite things about it Key WestIt is not difficult to find incredible views, especially on Southern beach resort, Because it’s exactly on the water.
The dream of a food lover
If you have read one of my articles before, you know that I am an amateur foodie when I travel. Key West is the dream of an amateur foodie that comes out For several reasons. First, the Key Lime Pie.
I can’t emphasize that enough. If you are not an important lime cake person, then you do it wrong (joke, for each their own).
Southern beach resort is at the top location to detect the best smart lime pies. At the top of that list Authority who give an inspired twist to the traditional cake by adding marshmallow to the top (Add the kiss of the chef here).
Don’t worry, Key West Has more than just important lime cake. I have to talk clearly about the fresh seafood.
For example the Key West Pink Shrimals Are so good. You can find the famous pink shrimps everywhere on the island, but I kept the most of them Boat House Bar and Grill. While you are there, you definitely have to Sticky toffee pudding. Believe me !! I like a good key cake, but this dessert competed with my best favorite keyelimens (and that says something that comes from me).
Another great place for seafood was DJs Clam Shack. Get the Lobster! You will thank me later. I wish I could go back now for the lobster role.
You don’t even have to leave the resort to get incredible seafood. The lobster at Southern beach café was delicious, and you should definitely Key West Paella. I propose to share the paella with a few people, but it is worth it so much!
The Southern beach café Also has great breakfast and lunch options to view. They have nice breakfast smoothies, but you have to Florentine Benedict with added lobster. What a great way to start your day! If you want something light, refreshing, but insanely delicious Southern beach cafés Mango -Bessen salad with shrimp added.
Do you want one private gourmet dinner Look over the ocean with your feet in the sand? Yes, yes you do.
Southern beach resort Put this incredible experience for us where we had one Private dinner on the beach with chef Cheyenne Armstrong Cook everything right in front of us. 10/10 recommend!
Unforgettable Key West experiences
If you want to learn how to make some local favorite meals, then you should definitely Key West Cooking School. This was a great experience with a beautifully designed classroom where they teach you how to make the food you eat (without having to do one of the hard work).
The instructors were hilarious, but they also emphasized a fascinating history of Key West During the class.
Key West Is also known for a good time with good drinks, and it did not disappoint.
One of my new must-do’s Key West Is the Key West Legal Rum Tour and Mojito Making Class. Paul and Crystal Menta Go completely to make this an unforgettable experience.
This was one of mine Top favorite things we have done. During the Mojito making class, Crystal we continued how they First rum runners to Havana where they learned how they have a Perfect Mojito.
They of course have their own little one Key West Turn on it, and it’s Literally the best Mojito I’ve ever had.
Speaking of great experiences, one of my favorite things to put in Key West is Watch dolphin and snorkel.
So it will be no surprise that I from the Dolphin guard and snorkeling excursion with anger.

We were really lucky and had Different groups of dolphins come to visit us And some of them even had Babies with them!
The captain and the crew members were quite well informed and gave us a lot of nice dolphins while we saw the dolphins playing around us.
My number one favorite from everything we did (including seeing baby dolphins) was the Island Tales Golf Cart Tour with Amy Andrade.
This was Without a doubt the best tour I’ve ever made. She knows just about everything and can take care of the tour for what you are most interested in. Amy’s passion for history and telling stories is contagious. We spent all the time on the edge of our seats and hang her every word she said.
You better believe that I am a tour with her book every time I go back Key West From now on. Amy However, book quickly, so you have to Book in advance in advance!
The Heart of Key West: The people
Amy Is also the Experience director at the southern beach resort. She organizes one Trivia Night on Wednesday bee Southern beach resort And we had a great time!
Our team even took first place together with a prize and brag. We enjoyed so much Amy Again that we begged her to one blaze With her for our flights the next morning.
Amy Also helps to embody one of my other favorite things about it Key Westthe People and the most important west culture. As a tourist it is never fun to feel like a nuisance or undesirable by the locals.
Key West Is small, so everyone knows everyone there, but they still love tourists and you can certainly feel it. One of the biggest statements/slogans on the island is “One human family.”
Even there are a few short days, you start to feel how much the people of Key West Really believe that we are all only one human family, regardless of where we come from, what we look like or what we believe in.
It is a great way to live.
