Last week’s red carpets and exclusive events reminded us that style is more than fabric; it is storytelling in motion. From Paris to New York, fashion lovers were treated to a visual symphony of creativity and confidence, brought to life by celebrities who know how to make an entrance. At the center of it all were the film premieres and the American Ballet Theater Fall Gala, where art, movement and couture came together under one dazzling spotlight.
Yet the magic didn’t stop there. Beyond the gala, stars love it Ciara And Tyla brought that same energy to the streets and onto the covers of magazines, proving that dressing up can be a feat in itself. Every appearance felt cinematic: each look unfolded like a scene from a movie, rich with character, emotion and intention.
The looks
Teyana Taylor ordered the Everything is fair Paris premiere carpet in a shimmering halter dress from Schiaparelli’s Spring 2026 collection. The gold and silver sequined mesh caught light from every angle, while the ‘tear’ details let the dress speak volumes. With her hair styled in a sculpted pixie cut and minimal jewelry, Teyana exuded strength and poise. Makeup artist Yeika Glow enhanced the look with glowing skin and smoky eyes, allowing the dress’s striking texture to remain the star.
In the meantime, Jodie Turner Smith made a statement at the London launch of the H&M x Glenn Martens collaboration. She wore a sculptural denim dress with dramatic front slits and matching boots, so exaggerated that it blurred the line between fashion and art. The acid-washed texture and sharply tailored cuts nodded to early 2000s attitudes while feeling utterly fresh. from Marie Claire editors noted that the ensemble “felt like double denim tuned to a high-fashion frequency.” As cool as it was, Jodie wore it effortlessly.
At the American Ballet Theater Fall Gala in New York, Iman turned heads in a silver off-the-shoulder dress from Nardos Design Fall 2025. Sculptural draping embraced her frame, while red floral embroidery bloomed across the volume of the dress, balancing structure and softness in one movement. Her hair was styled back to let the craftsmanship shine, and minimal accessories kept the focus on the dress. It was a masterclass in elegance, a performance in which style and identity merged.
