Kevin Hart sends one of his most personal car projects to auction. Sometime between January 17 and 25, Barrett-Jackson in Arizona will offer its custom 2024 Ford Bronco, a build Hart co-designed with Vintage Modern that puts intention over spectacle. Rooted in off-road heritage, yet elevated by modern performance upgrades, the Bronco stands apart from the typical celebrity consignments. It’s rare that engagement feels more thoughtful than performative, and with no reserve price, collectors are paying attention.
Unlike the usual celebrity auction entries, this Bronco has Hart’s fingerprints all over it. He didn’t just approve a completed draft; instead, he worked closely with Vintage Modern to shape every decision, from outward restraint to mechanical refinement. That hands-on collaboration gives the truck the feel of a personal project rather than a branded asset, and that distinction matters in today’s collector market.
A bronco that feels intentional
Built loud. Boldly built. Built for @KevinHart4Real. Craig Jackson takes one #FirstLook custom 2024 by Kevin Hart @Ford #Bronco. Designed and owned by the actor and comedian himself and sold without reserve at WestWorld’s 2026 Scottsdale Auction.

At first glance, the Bronco’s presence is unmistakably understated. Finished with a deep Triple Black treatment, it avoids visual excess and lets proportions and surface details take center stage. The monochrome exterior underlines the design, allowing subtle elements such as sleek headlights, a flat facade grille and matte black finish to quietly reference early Bronco styling without falling into pastiche.
Beneath that composed exterior lies a modern 2.7-liter V6 producing 330 horsepower, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. A Roush intake and exhaust system delivers responsiveness beyond stock Bronco performance. Meanwhile, the upgraded suspension and BFGoodrich all-terrain tires ensure the Bronco is just as capable off-road as it is in town.
Rather than attempting to recreate the past, this build uses heritage as a guide, embracing contemporary engineering while honoring the original spirit of the Bronco.
Inside: Refinement meets the purpose
The same philosophy continues in the cabin. Black leather upholstery wraps the seats and interior panels, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and purposeful. The modern Bronco’s digital displays and touchscreen interface remain intact, reinforcing that this is a current-generation vehicle designed to be driven and not kept under glass.
A premium Kenwood sound system adds depth without excess. It complements the interior rather than dominates it, reinforcing the construction’s emphasis on balance and practicality. Comfort and safety features remain fully functional, underscoring that this Bronco is rooted in the present and not a cosmetic tribute to the past.
The mentality of a collector
Hart’s relationship with cars has long gone beyond simple interest. Over the years, he has created striking builds – Plymouth Roadrunners, Dodge Chargers and other classics – that push the boundaries of design while maintaining mechanical credibility. What sets this Bronco apart is its story.
As his first major, custom-built modern 4×4, the project reflects a deeper level of personal investment. The collaboration with Vintage Modern feels guided by taste rather than trend, resulting in a vehicle shaped by decisions Hart would have made had he personally sourced, refined and assembled each part. That authenticity elevates the Bronco from celebrity curiosity to legitimate consideration for collectors.
What the auction could reveal

Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction is known for strong results for pedigreed vehicles, and this Bronco steps into the spotlight without reserve. The final price will be determined entirely by the reaction of the market, for example by bidders buying into the story, craftsmanship and mechanical content.
While high-equipment Broncos can already top six figures, Hart’s involvement and Vintage Modern’s execution suggest this example could go well past that threshold. Ultimately, bidders aren’t just buying a vehicle. They buy the provenance: a custom build, shaped by a committed enthusiast, rather than a celebrity label applied after the fact.
More than a vehicle

There is a broader cultural resonance in this auction. Cars have always reflected personal identity and taste, and Kenin Hart’s Bronco does that without excess or theatrics. Its appeal lies in the clarity of design, purpose and execution.
Heading to Barrett-Jackson, the Bronco is proof of what happens when personal vision meets engineering prowess. Whether it ultimately resides in a private collection or continues its life on the road, it will never be mistaken for anything ordinary.
Some auctions make headlines for record prices. This one attracts attention because it feels meaningful: a rare combination of era, technology and genuine enthusiasm.
