Now that the Men’s and Haute Couture Fashion Weeks have officially concluded, the fashion calendar may have changed, but the style energy certainly has not. From Saint Laurent’s sharp closing moments in Paris to Chanel’s couture presentations that featured some of our favorite stars, black men continued to deliver looks that made a compelling case for a complete wardrobe reset. Rather than signaling a slowdown, the end of a fashion chapter simply opened up space for freer expression and much more fun.
Outside of the fashion week circuit, the week’s momentum transitioned seamlessly into awards season. The Grammy Awards loomed large, bringing with them a slew of pre-events and performances in the days leading up to Sunday night. Add movie screenings, NBA game day arrivals and informal celebrity pop-outs to the mix, and it became clear that stars had no shortage of reasons to step out on purpose. From tunnel walks to red carpets, the common thread was outfits that felt less like costumes and more like natural extensions of personal style.
The looks
At the Atlanta screening of Relationship goals, Method man gave a masterclass in elegance for adult men. He stepped out in a sharply tailored, deep burgundy suit from 831 Minhle, whose double-breasted silhouette struck a confident balance between classic sophistication and modern swagger. The sleek DITA Eyewear sunglasses added an understated cool look, while a statement brooch from Zars London added a refined touch of personality to the lapel. Polished Bruno Magli boots anchored the look, tying the rich tones together and completing an ensemble that felt effortlessly like a red carpet.
In the meantime, A$AP Rocky transformed Chanel’s Haute Couture Fashion Week show into a fashion moment all its own. He arrived in a sleek leather Chanel trench layered over a white shirt, with polished black shoes adding to the look. A structured Chanel bag slung over his shoulder added a sophisticated counterpoint to his signature edge, while dark sunglasses and understated styling kept the overall vibe cool and collected. Yet the real statement was in the details: Rocky debuted jewelry from his new brand Pavē Niteo, created in collaboration with the historic Italian jeweler House Codagnato. The heritage-inspired rings and accessories nodded to old-world craftsmanship while firmly asserting his position as a connoisseur of modern style.
As always, the NBA tunnel turned out to be a runway in itself. Before the Sacramento Kings’ game against the Boston Celtics, Russell Westbrook arrived in unmistakable Thom Browne fashion, combining tailored precision with playful rule-breaking. A long gray overcoat with checked lining was layered over a matching waistcoat, crisp shirt and tie, then deliberately undermined by a pair of tailored gray shorts that turned the traditional suit on its head. A knit hat introduced a streetwise touch, while mid-calf socks and polished black lace-up boots grounded the look in Browne’s preppy-meets-provocative aesthetic. The result was a tunnel fit that felt bold, intellectual and confidently unconventional.
At the 2026 Grammy Awards, Shaboozey delivered one of the most compelling high-low moments of the evening. He wore a sharp-cut Ralph Lauren Purple Label tuxedo jacket, layered over a matching vest and a crisp white shirt, finished with a statement Bode tie. Instead of focusing entirely on formal wear, he subverted red carpet expectations by pairing the refined tailoring with distressed jeans, a statement belt with heavy metal hardware and polished black boots. An aviator-style hat added a final eccentric touch, combining elegance and boundary-pushing character and underscoring his genre-bending personality on a winning night.
