Our traveler has voted The Safety Index currently ranks El Salvador in a fantastic position 85 out of 100making it currently the safest country in Central America.

Don’t just take my word for it either. The US Department of State officially ranks El Salvador as a Level 1 destination.

My experience on the coast

When I visited El Salvador I stayed at a beautiful place called Mizata along the coast, and the atmosphere was incredible.

The volcanic black sand beaches are breathtaking, especially when the sun sets.

The waves right outside the resort are also absolutely perfect for learning to surf.
