The Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Sticks: A Convenient and Pigmented Addition to Your Makeup Routine

The Urban Decay Naked Palette has always been a staple in the makeup world, holding a special place in the hall of fame. With its iconic shades, it’s no surprise that people still love them. However, most of us tend to gravitate towards our favorite shades in the palette, neglecting the others. This is where the new Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Sticks come in, offering a convenient and practical solution to this common dilemma.

The Naked Eyeshadow Sticks, priced at $25, are twist-up cream shadows available in eight shades inspired by the original Naked palette. This range includes a mix of mattes and shimmers that can be used on their own or as a base for powder shadows. Urban Decay promises 16-hour wear with smudge-proof, crease-proof, fade-proof, and waterproof performance.

The shades are highly pigmented, with creamy mattes that provide full coverage in a single swipe, and shimmers that deliver a high-impact sparkle. While most shimmer shades have larger glitter particles, Tasteful offers a softer shimmer finish.

Although these shadows have a creamy texture, they set quickly. You’ll have just enough time to blend the color before it becomes fixed. Using your fingers can help extend the workability of the product due to the warmth of your hands.

For testing purposes, the eyeshadow sticks were applied with and without primer. Even without primer, the Naked Eyeshadow Sticks outperformed more affordable alternatives, showing minimal creasing and fading. With primer, the wear time extended significantly, with only slight fading after 12 hours.

While using primer yielded long-lasting results, blending the product over primer proved to be more challenging due to the quick setting nature of the shadows. However, for those with less oily lids, skipping primer might be a viable option, offering a bulletproof wear for most occasions.

The Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Sticks provide a convenient and practical alternative to traditional eyeshadow palettes, allowing you to streamline your makeup routine without compromising on quality. Whether you prefer a casual look or a more polished finish, these eyeshadow sticks offer versatility and long-lasting wear.
