As the new year 2023-2024 approaches, so does DTW Ulun Danu Management improve its tourist offer with the introduction of a innovative Dinosaur Parkjust in time for the end of year holidays.
This unique attraction is complemented by a huge collection of hundreds of cactus plants.
Made Sukarata, Public Relations Officer of DTW Ulundanu Beratan Management revealed that these cacti are uniquely situated in the bellies of the park’s dinosaur statues, creating an intriguing visual spectacle. These dinosaur statues not only enhance the park’s appeal, but also serve as an ideal backdrop for visitors’ selfies.
Sukarata stated on Monday, November 20, 2023: “Since last month, our new dinosaur park has been open to visitors, offering a new experience at the end of this year.” He further explained that the park is designed to be an excellent selfie spot, with a special Cactus Park on site, featuring a collection of four species of cacti, hundreds in total.
Upon leaving the cactus garden, guests can enjoy the serene atmosphere of a koi pond and a garden filled with various other plants, adding to the varied experience. “Our aim is to continually provide visitors to Ulundanu with new and engaging experiences,” he added.
Sukarata also said the introduction of the Dinosaur Park is in line with the DTW Ulundanu Beratan’s strategy to revise entrance fees in early January 2024. The management has decided to adjust the entrance fees for local adult visitors. The revised ticket price is IDR 40,000 on weekdays and IDR 50,000 on weekends. However, the fee for local children remains unchanged at IDR 20,000 per child, as well as the price for foreign adult visitors, which remains at IDR 75,000.
Located on the shores of Lake Beratan in Bali, Indonesia, Ulun Danu is a mesmerizing testament to the island’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. This iconic water temple, dedicated to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, is a focus of devotion and a place of scenic beauty. With its unique thatched shrines on the water’s edge and often shrouded in mist, it creates an almost surreal and serene atmosphere.
