The prospect of receiving awards from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a triumphant return to the awards circuit after historic strikes that kept actors on the picket lines for 118 days, a room full of supportive colleagues, the chance to express gratitude to fans, family, and the viewers at home all at once, and the prospect of presenting the latest catwalk fashion on the prestigious red carpet – these factors combined to make it the biggest evening of television.
While the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards made a comeback on Monday night, this time led by Anthony Anderson as host, another prestigious award was presented to celebrities. After a four-month delay, the outfits on the Emmys red carpet lived up to expectations. The event not only provided a platform for the emergence of new fashion trends, but also followed the remarkable red carpet of the Golden Globes earlier this month. While each celebrity showcased their unique style on the red carpet on January 15, certain approaches stood out as more popular than others.

Ayo Edebiri, who won her first Emmy in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, elegantly adorned herself in a unique Louis Vuitton dress, putting a contemporary twist on the classic little black dress. The bell-shaped black mini dress featured sleek leather panels. Other notable figures chose to incorporate more vibrant shades into their clothing, such as Simona Tabasco by “The White Lotus,” who turned heads in a striking Marni dress decorated with graphic collages of flowers. Jenna Ortegathe star of “Wednesday,” stayed true to the garden theme with her strapless, netted Dior Couture gown, adorned with delicate pastel blossom appliqués.
In men’s fashion, some of the evening’s most stylish men embraced innovative tailoring. Colman Domingoa consistent highlight during awards season, wore a custom Louis Vuitton suit that featured an elongated jacket and an intricate brooch. Donald Glover opted for a soft black suit from Bode, embellished with romantic metallic embroidery and combined with ballerinas.
