Never one to miss a fashion, the superstar has made the move and repeated it in a monochrome look from Alexander McQueen’s new designer, Seán McGirr. It was one of the first big red carpet moments for the brand since his appointment, and Rihanna fully committed to the sleek design – completely matching her hair and shoes to it, of course.
Rihanna has mastered the art of monochromatic style, where the dress matches the shoes and possibly the beauty look as well. Let’s start with the dress: The star wore a corseted gown in honey-colored calf hair, and the silhouette featured a sweetheart neckline and a below-the-knee hemline. To make it a complete fashion fantasy moment, Rihanna changed her hair accordingly, with a summery caramel blonde shade. Even her choice of footwear – a brown, barely-there strappy sandal – fit seamlessly into the final ensemble. Of course, Rihanna had to have some non-neutral pops, including some sparkly rings and an anklet. It wouldn’t be a true Riri look without some diamonds. Duh!
