Stine Goya Resort 2025 Collection

“We’re trying to revive some of Goya’s classics,” says Stine Goya of her 2025 resort collection. One of those beloved standbys is a quilted bomber with a watercolor floral print (developed in-house) with rolled stamens. The same textile is used here for a sleeveless A-line dress that can be worn over a long-sleeved top when the temperature drops. All-over beading is applied to easy garments, such as a hoodie, and to a simpler evening dress. A rich merlot was chosen to update the brand’s go-to pantsuit.

In a campaign with nine looks, the denim feels like an outlier. The garment that screams Goya is a turtleneck dress with a lush, expressionist portrait of the designer and her husband Thomas Hertz in the green garden of their summer home. This motif builds on the story of home and intimacy that the brand tells with recent shows on the street where Goya lives and in her offices. Because the print is based on a work in oil paint, it has a painting-like dimensionality, which also fits in with the theme. The designer is working on an installation and curation of the collection at the Arts Museum of Modern Art in Jutland, northern Denmark, which will open in November, around the time this collection will be delivered.
