The survey, conducted by the VisaGuide Digital Nomad Index, Factors such as cost of living, popularity among tourists, income required to apply for a digital nomad visa, taxes and internet speed were taken into account.
Spain has become increasingly popular among this demographic group due to its rich Mediterranean weather culturebreathtaking beaches and international nightlife.
Last year, the country integrated the ‘Ley de Start-ups’, a program that is offered Visa to non-European digital nomads and remote workers, allowing them to live and work in Spain for a certain period.
