On August 19, it published a list of ‘reassessments’ for six Caribbean islands, most of which belonged to the Netherlands.

Despite the positive results, the agency still advises citizens to remain cautious and observe common sense precautions to protect themselves when abroad.

Aruba – Level 1: Take normal precautions

A short three-hour flight is all that separates Miami from Aruba, a breathtaking Caribbean island that has re-ranked Level 1: Take normal precautions.

This ranking makes Aruba one of the safest places in the world for Americans to visit, go on cruises, spend their last days of summer or plan their next winter vacation.

Sint Eustatius – Level 1: Take normal precautions

Sint Eustatius is a small Dutch Caribbean island that is still on the rankings Level 1: Take normal precautionsaccording to the US Department of State.

With this designation, St. Eustatius is one of the safest places on earth where Americans can visit and enjoy.

In recent years, this island has become popular among travelers who want to explore pristine, untouched beaches and hike through lush forests teeming with impressive wildlife.

Saba – Level 1: Take normal precautions

The US Department of State has reissued its travel advisory for Saba, a Caribbean island in the Lesser Antilles, and the good news is that this destination is still very safe to travel to.

Although this special municipality of the Netherlands has no beaches, it is popular with travelers for its exceptional diving among dolphins, sharks, turtles and coral formations.

Saba prides itself on its lack of crime, big hotel chains, traffic lights and tourist crowds, but instead offers its people, nature and rich Caribbean culture.

Curaçao – Level 1: Take normal precautions

Curaçao needs no introduction. Arguably the most colorful and vibrant island in the Caribbean has just been reaffirmed Level 1: Take normal precautions.

With top beaches, all-inclusive resorts, endless activities for all types of travelers, a unique blend of European and Caribbean culture, and this ranking, Curacao is one of the safest choices for a tropical getaway.

Bonaire – Level 1: Take normal precautions

The travel advice for Bonaire has been reissued and contains no changes.

This Dutch municipality, which is currently in the rankings Level 1: Take normal precautionshas become a top destination not only for seasoned divers, but also for those who want to spend their golden years in a Caribbean paradise, according to a CNN report.

With the “approval” of this US State Department, there is no reason why you should postpone a visit to this island.
