The Walt Disney Company has done a great job promoting Orlando as the only place in Florida to a worldwide audience!

But if you’re looking for the beautiful beaches, the luxurious holiday atmosphere and the chance to really relax and unwind, then this is the place to be.

Things to do in Palm Beach

As the name suggests, the beaches are the main attractions of the Palm Beach area. There are more than 75 kilometers of beaches to choose from.

Some of the most popular of these are Coral Cove Park, which offers the best snorkeling in the area, and Jupiter Beach Park, with its gentle waters and picture-perfect lagoon.

But if you’re not a beach lover, don’t worry, the Palm Beaches have so much more to offer!

Think of museums, galleries and world-famous cultural attractions. One of the best of these is the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum. This is a beautiful Gilded Age estate and now a National Historic Landmark with regularly changing exhibitions. Admission is You will be charged $28 per adult.

If you are interested in golfing, Palm Beach is the place for you. Thanks to its incredible 160 golf courses, the Palm Beaches are sometimes called the golf capital of Florida.

The conscious classic in The Palm Beaches is a PGA Tour golf tournament that takes place here every year.

Go to the water

One of the best ways to see Palm Beach from a new perspective is to get out on the water.

Visit Palm Beach offers cruises and boat tours, with their 2-hour Intracoastal Waterway Sightseeing cruise exploring the Palm Beaches, with prices from $45 per person.

For something a little more luxurious, try a dinner cruise or a day trip on a catamaran.

Alternatively, if you want to get out on the water independently, why not rent a canoe or paddleboard? This is a great way to explore at your own pace and on a budget. Rental begins from € 17.50 per hour.

The year-round warm water temperatures, combined with the sunny tropical climate, make winter a great time to get in the water in Palm Beach.

Reach Palm Beach

Another reason for the popularity of the Palm Beaches is that they are so easy to get to.

Palm Beach has its own airport, the Palm Beach International Airport.

Skyscanner shows you can fly non-stop to Palm Beach from 28 different US cities, with round-trip flight prices available from $57 per person in December.

You can also easily explore the Palm Beach area from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Miami International Airports, if this is more convenient based on your departure point.

If you prefer to arrive by train, both Brightline and Tri-Rail offer routes directly to Palm Beach, and of course you can use the Florida Turnpike if you choose to take a road trip.

Each of these routes makes the Palm Beaches wonderfully accessible.
