I am a big fan of solo trips.
And as a female traveler who often travels solo, I choose destinations with interesting attractions, rich culture and great food when planning my journeys.

But safety is also always in mind. The reality of the world in which we live is that it must be!
Women are statistically more sensitive to intimidation, theft and abuse while traveling than male travelers.
Fortunately a new report from IVISA has unveiled the five safest destinations for solo -feminine travelers. And the great news is that they are all great places to visit!
Here is the Top 5 list:
5. Iceland
Iceland scores very much for solo -feminine travelers because women report that they feel safe and respected in public areas.
It has a high safety assessment thanks to the high rank on the gender gap index and the Global Peace index and the overall accessibility.


Besides how safe you feel, there is so much to see and do in Iceland.
This is a good time to visit if you want to see the Northern Lights, and swimming in the blue lagoon is a bucket list activity that is worth visiting.
