Yeehaw! Who is ready to venture deep in the south to discover the best hidden gems in the region?
Experts have just revealed some that the best in the region escapes and they are all far removed from what you would expect.
Know you-the typical beach locations of Florida or perhaps trendy up-and-comers along the Atlantic Ocean.

Whatever you want to call the Golf nowadays, experts say that this is the center this fall, with a trio of few well -known hiding places to record the sun and enjoy a sweeping view of the coast without a crowd in sight.
For us on Travel Off Path, we say check, check and check to all 3 of these wonderful cities, each unique in itself, ranging from hidden bags from the coast from Texas to the southwest of Florida in Paradissen.
Let’s start with the latter, shall we?
3) Port Richey, Florida
What about another Florida experience for a change?

No smiley oversized rodents with screaming children, no overly priced cocktails in one of the chic bars of South Beach and sufficient parking away from the crowd of always popular Siesta key in the neighborhood.
Port Richey is teeming with the water, not only from the coast, but also of the winding Pithyascotee river (say that 5 times quickly).
It is the perfect place for those who prefer not to waste on the lively coasts of Florida, extended like a starfish, and come into action, such as kayaking by picturesque mangroves, for example.
Although it is not super popular of the year, this real hidden gem is even better to visit in the shoulder season.

Even the locals do not fill bar stools, and accommodations usually fall, not that Port Richey is expensive for a while.
There are a handful of medium chain hotels with affordable rates throughout the year. If you are looking for luxury, you want to look somewhere else.
If you are looking for public -free coasts, quiet waterways and relaxed vibes where you will feel more like a room than another face in the crowd, Port Richey is alone for you.
2) Pascagoula, Mississippi

Believe it or not, the birth city of Jimmy Buffett is now one of the trendy Coastal escapes of the south – and no, it is not because of a new Margaritaville resort here, what a crime seems, is there none, right?
While you can literally grab a ‘cheeseburger in paradise’ at Pascagoula’s popular Paradise Deli & GrillIt is also not the food scene that shocks attention – it is the long -awaited launch of Amtrak’s Mardi grass route, which is already Add more seats Because of the immediate popularity.
Needless to say, Pascagoula is one of the lesser -known stops compared to mobile and New Orleans.

Travelers are quite impressed by the charming flagship district of this city, loaded with shops, local food and buzzing bars, and of course, white sandy beaches that are too often overlooked in the shadow of nearby Biloxi.
Moreover, this year Pascagoula was named ‘most affordable’ beach destination in America, where your highest costs would probably be a room of $ 100 in the most trendiest hotel in the city, Whiskey Hotel.
1) Port Lavaca, Texas
Say to Corpus Christi and Hello to Port Lavaca, close by.
Texas may not always come for a beach holiday, but there are countless cities ranging from the Mexican border near Matamoros all the way to the Louisiana State Line.

Corpus Christi is of course one of the most striking names with places such as Mustang Island and Port Aransas that offer surprisingly beautiful beaches for a mammy retreat.
What is overlooked are Bayside cities such as Port Lavaca, where crowds hardly exist and the seafood cannot be fresher – plus, the menu is much more affordable than any flashy resort you may have considered booking.
Just south of the city is what feels really untouched – Indianola Beach. If you want exactly the opposite of the most popular beach cities with holidaymakers and chic hotels, this is just the place for you.

Visitors can camp for up to 14 days. Grab a hammock, enjoy the breeze and the sunny, lively coasts, even the most born and ravaged Texans (like me) missed out.
The best of all is that Port Lavaca is easier to reach than ever, even if you are not traveling with RV. Corpus Christus recently welcomed their first new flights in decades.
