Sandals Resorts International is set to inaugurate its newest resort in the Caribbean, Sandals St. Vincent, planned for next year.
The resort in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be Sandals’ ninth Caribbean location and the company’s 18th resort overall.
Originally intended as a Beaches resort, the resort was changed to Sandals and opened on the site of the former Buccament Bay resort.
Reservations are currently being accepted for the brand new all-inclusive resort, which the company says will open on March 27, 2024.
There will be 301 rooms in the 50-acre resort, including the Vincy Overwater Two-Story Villas, a group of overwater villas.
“This resort is a dream more than twenty years in the making – from the moment we laid eyes on Vincy, as the locals affectionately call her, and felt this sense of magic, wonder and awe so palpable you could almost touch it, said Adam Stewart, executive chairman of Sandals Resorts International.
“She is a true diamond of a place and ticks all the boxes to deliver an exceptional experience worthy of its location. “Chosed for its stunning location in an alluring west-facing valley, just a stone’s throw from pristine coves, clifftop caves and coves, our guests will quickly enjoy the beauty of Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,” he added.
The resort will offer a number of business ‘firsts’ including Buccan’s, a community restaurant; Imoro, a take-away restaurant that serves healthy bowls; Three Jewels, a rum bar specializing in rum from the Eastern Caribbean; and Parisol, an open-air beach club with a kitchen.
A 90-metre linear pool with cabanas and access to a swim-up bar will be the focal point of the hotel.
Of course the resort also has one Red Lane Spa.
Since the opening of the brand new Dunn’s River Sandals in Jamaica earlier this year, these will be the first Sandals to open in the Caribbean.
The resort will be part of the exclusive collection of all-inclusive resorts in St. Vincent and the Grenadines led by Palm Island Resort.
