When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the black-tie dress code was not strictly followed by all the guests. NFL players George Kittle and Robert Tonyan made a memorable entrance in Dumb and Dumber-inspired tuxedos, one in power blue and the other in bright orange, after the ceremony.
In a recent appearance on the Chris Simms Unbuttoned podcast on July 23, Kittle revealed that he and Tonyan changed into these over-the-top outfits after witnessing Kelce and Swift exchanging vows. They had informed Kelce in advance about their plan.
Kittle recalled, “The best part was we changed backstage, and the first people we saw were Travis and Taylor, who broke out laughing at us. I was there to bring vibes and have a good time, and we fulfilled our side of the bargain.”
He described the star-studded event as “fantastic” and mentioned that he had a lot of fun.

Despite some reports of frustration among guests leading up to the wedding due to Swift’s efforts to keep details private, her reaction to Kittle and Tonyan’s outfits was light-hearted. It was reported that some guests were unhappy with the lack of information and the need to block off two full days for the event.
One source mentioned, “Taylor and Travis are being overly secretive. People understand privacy, but it can start to feel like they don’t trust the guests they’ve invited.”
Even close friends of the couple were reportedly getting frustrated with the level of secrecy. “The message they’re sending is, ‘We don’t trust you enough to tell you where you’re going.’ That’s frustrating when you’ve rearranged your schedule to celebrate the couple.”
